Realistically, they can mostly make money in both directions because they don't worry about stops as they influence other traders to do their bidding. The skill we must develop is to figure out 'why" they are apparently going against their agenda and to distinguish it from a legitimate market reveral

Lots of traders probably looked left and found that the BBs had a protected PSR at that level so a reversal trade was a good possibility

You have to survive in trading for a while to develop analysis that will let you Anticipate, Recognize and then React.. Survival of your bad trades and bad trading habits gives you the time to gain experience. You will probably learn more from losing money in a bad experience because you won't forget it. One easy lesson you may have experienced is the spike at the trading day change-over which can go 70 or more pips against you.

Thomas, I totally understand your reasoning on not trading, but most traders will tell you that demo chart trading is simply not the same as real trading. So try trading with very small trades (micros) where if you lose a 100 pips you only lose the price of a hamburger. We can all probably lose some calories in our diet, eh? But keep track of lost hamburgers vs. won double cheese with fries + a shake. When you begin to eat well--or too well--you have learned how to feed yourself so increase the real money size of your trades. 🤣
